Gov Ododo’s Ganaja Visit Sparks Unity Drive, Wins Praise from Commissioner Abanika

The Honourable Commissioner for Housing and Urban Development, Hon. Abanika Taiye, has hailed the recent visit of Kogi State Governor, Alh. Ahmed Usman Ododo, to Ganaja in Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, describing it as a strong symbol of unity, peace, and purposeful leadership.

The visit, which took place on Wednesday, March 18, 2026, drew widespread attention as residents came out in large numbers to warmly welcome the governor, showcasing their support and appreciation.

Hon. Abanika noted that Governor Ododo’s presence in Ganaja reflects his deep commitment to the development, unity, and overall progress of Ajaokuta Federal Constituency. He described the governor as a “unifier and father of peace,” whose leadership continues to foster harmony across the state.

He also commended the lawmaker representing Ajaokuta Federal Constituency, Hon. Abdulraheem Sanni Egidi, for his consistent efforts in attracting development and maintaining a strong, collaborative relationship with the state government an alliance he said has brought tangible benefits to the area.

The commissioner further appreciated key stakeholders who graced the occasion, including members of the Kogi State House of Assembly, local government chairmen, political leaders, as well as youth and women groups, acknowledging their vital role in driving grassroots development.

Calling for sustained unity, Hon. Abanika urged residents to embrace the governor’s message of togetherness and collective responsibility, stressing that the growth of Ajaokuta lies in the hands of its people.
