The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has reaffirmed its commitment to integrity, transparency, and professionalism as the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, mni, formally recognized and rewarded outstanding personnel whose conduct reflects the highest ideals of public service.
At a brief but impactful ceremony, the Corps Marshal presented commendation letters and cash rewards to a select group of officers and marshals. These individuals were distinguished by their consistent dedication to ethical standards in the line of duty.
According to the Corps Marshal, the honourees drawn from various operational commands across the country were celebrated not merely for isolated acts, but for sustaining a culture of discipline, accountability, and professional excellence that aligns with the Corps’ core values.
Speaking during the presentation, Shehu Mohammed emphasized that the gesture is part of a deliberate institutional framework designed to motivate personnel, strengthen public trust, and reinforce the Corps’ zero-tolerance stance on unethical conduct.
He noted that integrity remains the cornerstone of effective law enforcement and public safety administration, adding that the FRSC will continue to identify and reward behaviors that elevate the organization’s image. “This recognition is a celebration of who we are as an organization and what we stand for,” he stated.
The Corps Marshal further remarked that across the FRSC, thousands of officers and marshals carry out their responsibilities daily with honor, courage, and a deep sense of duty. “Today’s awards highlight that enduring culture and serve as a reminder that integrity is both expected and appreciated,” he added.
He stressed that the initiative aims to inspire all personnel to remain steadfast in upholding the values that define the Corps. Furthermore, he reaffirmed Management’s commitment to providing the leadership, environment, and incentives necessary to drive operational excellence at all levels.
This gesture reinforces the reality that the Federal Road Safety Corps remains resolute in its mission to build a safer motoring environment while sustaining a workforce anchored on discipline, transparency, and service to humanity.
