The Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ), FCT Council, is set to honour Hon. Mascot Ikwechegh, member representing Aba North and Aba South Federal Constituency in the House of Representatives, with a special recognition as Patron of the Council.
The honour is in recognition of Hon. Ikwechegh’s unwavering determination, youthful energy, and strong advocacy for issues affecting Nigerian youths. The lawmaker has continued to distinguish himself as a vibrant voice for young people, championing policies and initiatives aimed at empowerment, inclusion, and national development.
NUJ FCT noted that the decision to confer the honour on him was born out of his commitment to youth development, leadership support, and his consistent engagement with stakeholders across the country.
