The Ovidi Family paid a high-profile courtesy visit to His Royal Highness, Dr. Ahmed Tijani Muhammed Anaje, the Ohinoyi of Ebiraland, at his palace in Okene on Friday, September 26, 2025, solidifying their ties with the paramount stool.
Elder Fortune Omuya Salawu, leading the delegation, extended congratulations to the King on his ascension and commended his resolute efforts in promoting the rich Ebira cultural heritage.
The family’s objective was to strengthen their relationship with the King, and they used the visit to propose an enhancement of the Ebira Unity Festival. Elder Fortune suggested expanding the festival to more effectively unite all Sons and Daughters of Ebira, making it a key showcase for traditional skills such as weaving clothes and crafts.
HRH Dr. Anaje warmly received the family and their constructive input, assuring them that the palace council is actively collaborating with various community groups to bring the suggested ideas, especially the festival expansion, to fruition. The monarch highlighted his achievements and ongoing dedication to repositioning the Ebira Nation globally.
The King concluded by praying for the Ovidi Family’s well-being and thanking them for visiting their “father’s house.” The family, in turn, expressed their profound gratitude for the warm reception they received.
