It is with deep sorrow that the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council announces the passing of our esteemed senior member and veteran, Elder Isaiah Abraham, who departed this life on Thursday, January 2, 2025, after a protracted illness.
Elder Isaiah was a dedicated senior member of the NUJ for several years and played a pivotal role with his selfless contributions toward a vibrant Union.
He worked with defunct Concord Newspapers and the Daily Times of Nigeria (DTN) in Lagos before joining the New Nigerian Newspapers (NNN) in Kaduna as the Features Editor and eventually moved to the NNN, Abuja Bureau, as the Special Correspondent.
