Nigeria LNG Limited (NLNG) has announced the first edition of its Change Your Story (CYS) Digital Journalism Training for 2026, scheduled to take place from January 19 to 21, 2026, in Abuja.
Widely acclaimed as Nigeria’s foremost multimedia journalism capacity-building initiative, the CYS programme is powered by Nigeria LNG Limited and tailored to deepen innovation, professionalism, and collaboration across the media landscape. The 2026 edition carries the compelling theme: “Re-calibrate, Create, Connect.”
As in previous years, renowned media project leader and trainer Dan Masonwhose work spans extensive engagements with journalists and communicators across Africa and beyond will serve as the lead facilitator. The programme is coordinated by Taiwo Obe, Founder of The Journalism Clinic.
Over the years, the NLNG Change Your Story initiative has equipped hundreds of journalists from print, online, television, and radio platforms nationwide, making a significant contribution to the growth of digital storytelling and media excellence in Nigeria.
Welcoming the 2026 cohort, the organisers described the training as a transformative experience—one designed to sharpen skills, spark creativity, and foster meaningful professional connections within the ever-evolving media ecosystem.
