The National Association of Nigerian Students (NANS), Joint Campus Committee (JCC), Kogi Axis, has honoured Hon. Jibril Onoru-Oiza Abu, Member representing Ajaokuta State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, with an Award of Honour in recognition of his outstanding contributions to legislative development, youth empowerment, and student-focused policies in Kogi State.
During the ceremony, the NANS leadership praised Hon. Abu’s remarkable leadership and effective oversight functions, which have resulted in impactful policies positively influencing the growth and welfare of young people and students across the state.
Speaking on behalf of the Assembly Member, his Legislative Secretary, Hon. Umar Jafaru Omeiza, who represented him at the event, expressed profound appreciation to the NANS JCC, Kogi Axis, for the honour bestowed upon him.
Hon. Abu also commended the Executive Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo, for his unwavering support to the 8th Assembly and his continued commitment to the welfare of youths and students across the state.
He noted that the Governor’s dedication to good governance and youth development continues to inspire progressive legislative actions, assuring that he remains committed to complementing these efforts through effective representation and policy advocacy.
He dedicated the award to the good people of Ajaokuta State Constituency, acknowledging their unconditional love and steadfast support as his greatest motivation to serve with renewed strength and commitment.
