Family, friends, colleagues and associates gathered on Friday, December 20th, 2024 to pay last Respects to international legal Luminary, Barr Onome Ewhrudjakpor Obuotor, born 28th January, 1965 and passed 25th November, 2024. He hails from Ugheli North Local Government Area of Delta State, Nigeria. Until his demise He was a Parliamentary Counsel in The Gambia, under the Nigeria -Gambia bilateral agreement, he served for 16 year until his demise. He mentored many legal Officers.
The High Commissioner of The Gambia to Nigeria, Amb Muhammadu Musa, pointed out that the demise of Barr Onome Obuotor had created a vacuum, that will be difficult to fill by both countries. Amb Musa stated this during the funeral service held in honour of Barr Onome Ewhrudjakpor Obuotor at the Diocese of Abuja (Anglican Communion) The Basilica of Grace, Gudu, Abuja.
