IGP Olatunji Rilwan Disu commissions new security vehicles in Ogun State, strengthening policing and rapid response.The Nigeria Police Force has reaffirmed its commitment to strengthening national security as the Inspector-General of Police, Olatunji Rilwan Disu, attended the commissioning of landmark security projects in Ogun State.
The high-level event highlighted renewed collaboration between the Police and state authorities aimed at safeguarding lives and property across the state.

At the ceremony, security took centre stage with the unveiling of newly acquired operational vehicles and electric motorbikes designed to enhance policing efficiency.

The assets are expected to boost rapid response, improve patrol coverage, and strengthen intelligence-driven operations within Ogun State.

Speaking during the commissioning, the IGP commended the Ogun State Government for prioritizing security and investing in modern tools for law enforcement.
He emphasized that effective policing requires strong partnership between federal and state actors, noting that such initiatives will significantly improve the operational capacity of officers on the ground.

The police chief also reaffirmed the Force’s readiness to work closely with stakeholders at all levels to tackle emerging security challenges.

He assured residents that the Nigeria Police Force remains vigilant and committed to protecting citizens while supporting national development and maintaining public order.

The Force further expressed appreciation to the Ogun State Governor and other dignitaries for their support in advancing security initiatives.
Residents were encouraged to cooperate with law enforcement agencies and promptly report suspicious activities, stressing that community participation remains vital to sustaining peace and safety.
