FRSC LAUNCHES REVAMPED WEBSITE TO ENHANCE ROAD SAFETY, PUBLIC ENGAGEMENT, AND SERVICE DELIVERY NATIONWIDE

By Suleiman Abdulmumin

In its quest to progress in tandem with contemporary realities and introduce dynamism in its operations for ease of doing business, the Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) has redesigned its official website. The website’s new look speaks volumes of a highly modernised, user-friendly, and informative digital platform tailored to meet the evolving needs of Nigerians and all road users.

Accessible at www.frsc.gov.ng, the upgraded website serves as a one-stop hub for everything related to road safety administration and traffic regulation in Nigeria. With its sleek interface and enhanced functionality, the platform is built to offer timely, credible, and engaging content aimed at saving lives and promoting a safe motoring culture across the country.

The public may recall that the Corps’ website was ranked the best in the country out of 315 Ministries, Departments, and Agencies (MDAs) in the 5th edition of the Federal Government Scorecard for ranking websites of MDAs. This ranking was objectively carried out by the Bureau of Public Service Reforms (BPSR).

It is in the Corps’ continuous bid to sustain excellence and high performance, and in line with the new requirements on website ranking by subject matter experts from NITDA and BPSR, that the site has been subsequently upgraded to its present status.

This newly redesigned official website is a user-focused platform that reflects our mission to save lives, enhance road safety awareness, and deliver world-class public service. It was built with the latest technologies, offering faster load times, improved security, and seamless scalability to meet the growing needs of Nigerians across the globe.

One of its most impressive features is that it is designed for engagement, education, and entertainment with intuitive, visually rich layouts designed to capture and hold your attention. More than just a new look—the redesigned FRSC website is indeed a new way of serving the Nigerian public with ease.

The new website prioritizes user engagement and education, with:

Modern, Intrinsically Designed Layouts

Every page is crafted to be interactive, accessible, and user-friendly.

Content is organized logically to guide you effortlessly to the information you need.

Speaking on the development, the Corps Marshal, Shehu Mohammed, emphasized the Corps’ resolve to digital transformation and public accessibility, noting that the revamped platform reflects our renewed vision of providing transparent, efficient, and technology-driven road safety services to Nigerians at home and in the diaspora.

To this end, Nigerians both in the public and private sectors, non-governmental organisations, as well as civil society organisations who desire any information on road safety in the country can save themselves the stress by logging into the website from the comfort of their homes.

The motoring public, pedestrians, researchers, and the media are equally invited to explore the redesigned website and take advantage of the many tools available to improve safety and compliance on our roads.

This advancement is part of the reengineering process initiated by the management of the Corps, which has translated into better services. This includes the almost completed, effective, seamless process of Driver’s License acquisition.
