The Coalition of Civil Society Groups for Peace, Security, Good Governance, Equity, and Justice has commended the National Security Adviser (NSA), Mallam Nuhu Ribadu, for the successful operation that led to the arrest of a notorious gang responsible for the murders of a Divisional Officer in Gwagwalada and a lawmaker in the Federal Capital Territory.
The gang, which specialized in kidnapping and car snatching, had a vast network across Delta, Kaduna, Kano, Lagos, and Nasarawa states.
In a statement signed by Comrade James Okoronkwo, National Coordinator of the Coalition, the group praised Ribadu and the security agencies involved for their diligence and commitment to ensuring the safety and security of Nigerians.
This remarkable achievement underscores President Bola Tinubu’s unwavering commitment to safeguarding lives and property in Nigeria. The Coalition urges the NSA to continue leveraging intelligence and collaboration with security agencies to tackle insecurity and protect lives and property.
The group reaffirmed its support for efforts to enhance security and promote peace in Nigeria, and expressed optimism that the arrest would serve as a deterrent to other would-be criminals.
