Baze University to adopt Kogi Annual Media Report as Reference Material – Registrar

The Kogi State Annual Media Performance Report is set to be adopted as a reference material for communications studies at Baze University, Abuja.

The Registrar, Prof. Abiodun Adeniyi disclosed this when he received the report at the Baze University campus in Abuja during a visit by the Special Adviser on Media to the Kogi State Governor, Ismaila Isah

Professor Adeniyi hailed the report as a groundbreaking document, recognizing its uniqueness as the first of its kind in Nigeria.

He emphasized its significant academic and practical value, noting that it would serve as a reference for students pursuing postgraduate studies in media, communications, and public relations.

“The Kogi Annual Media Report offers a detailed and innovative analysis of media performance at the state level. It’s a pioneering effort in public sector communication, and we believe it will provide valuable insights for our postgraduate students,” he said.

Responding, the Special Adviser expressed gratitude to Professor Adeniyi for his support, particularly as a long-time mentor of the “Gown to Town” initiative, which bridges the gap between academia and practice.
