All is set for Nigeria to host the world as the Raw Materials Research and Development Council (RMRDC) concludes arrangements to host the second edition of The Africa Raw Materials Summit 2026.
The global summit with the theme: “FROM AFRICAN FEEDSTOCK TO AFRICAN FACTORY” is scheduled to hold on 19th and 20th October, 2026 at the Ladi Kwali Conference Centre, Abuja Continental Hotel, Abuja by 8AM WAT.
The promotional video released by the Council posed a critical question: “Africa has the resources, but how much value are we creating from them here at home?”
Speaking on the summit, the Director General/CEO of RMRDC, Prof. Nnanyelugo M. Ike-Muonso and the Chairman of the Summit, Rachel Kotso, said it is time to move from exporting raw materials to building African industries.
According to the organizers, the summit will bring together Policymakers, Manufacturers, Financiers, Researchers, Industrialists and Global Trade Influencers to Unlock Investment, Strengthen Supply Chains and Drive Value Addition across Africa.
Features of the summit include:
– Presentation by notable speakers from around the globe
– Interactive discussions on thematic areas
– Exhibitions showcasing technology, innovation and industrial solutions
– B2B networking and powerful conversations
The summit will also provide huge opportunities for Sponsorship & Exhibition, offering exclusive brand visibility across global platforms, access to business and policy decision-makers, speaking opportunities and thought leadership slots.
Prof. Ike-Muonso emphasized that Africa’s resources should build Africa’s future.
The Council therefore calls on stakeholders, investors, manufacturers and the general public to Register, Exhibit or Partner today to be part of the transformation.
