Further details have emerged on the Renewed Women’s Voice and Leadership (RWVL) project, designed to strengthen women’s rights and leadership across Nigeria. The project will engage key stakeholders, including NAWOJ, the Nigerian government, and various women’s organizations.
Notably, the RWVL project is the second phase of the Women’s Voice and Leadership (WVL) project, which concluded in October 2024 after a successful five-year run. NAWOJ joined the WVL project in its fourth year and has continued its partnership in the renewed phase.
Set to run for another five years, the RWVL initiative aims to continue empowering women nationwide through a network of 188 women’s rights organizations and 350 grants. The project has also launched the hashtag #AllNigerianWomenMatter, underscoring its commitment to amplifying the voices and concerns of Nigerian women.
