Her leadership capacity came to the fore during her tenure as former President of the Nigeria Association of Women Journalists (NAWOJ), where she championed the advancement of women in journalism and promoted gender-focused advocacy across the country.
Beyond the newsroom, she is widely celebrated as the Founder and President of the Initiative for Women’s Accelerated Development in Africa (INWOAD), a platform dedicated to empowering women and girls and driving inclusive development.
