Charity Kande Garba was born in Jimeta- YOLA to the family of Mr and Mrs Garba Mari. Mshelia
She had her Primary Education at Central Primary School Jimeta, after which she started her Secondary Education at Federal Government Girls College Owerre, Imo state and completed at Government Girls Secondary School Gombi.
After her Secondary Education, she went to University of Maiduguri for her first degree where she obtained a BA HONS in Mass Communication.
She then performed her NYSC scheme at Radio Niger Minna, Niger State.
After her NYSC, she joined the service of Adamawa State at Adamawa Television ( ATV ) Yola, where she rose to the rank of Director Programmes before her appointment as acting general manager.
Madam Garba is a well-known community mobilizer and Peace activist especially between different faiths.
As a co- coordinator interfaith mediation centre North East Zone she has worked on peace projects with women,youth and religious leaders across the North East
She was married and blessed with two children.
