Hon. Jibril Onoru-Oiza Abu, Member Representing Ajaokuta State Constituency at the Kogi State House of Assembly, has once again demonstrated his dedication to education by paying the school fees of Federal University Lokoja (FUL) students from his constituency through his T³ (Together Towards Tomorrow) Initiative.
This latest intervention follows his earlier sponsorship of students enrolled in National Diploma (ND) to Higher National Diploma (HND) programs at Kogi State Polytechnic, Lokoja. By extending his support to Federal University Lokoja students, Hon. Abu reaffirms his belief in education as a powerful tool for socio-economic advancement, ensuring that financial challenges do not hinder the academic aspirations of young people in Ajaokuta.
At a brief presentation ceremony, Hon. Abu, represented by his Legislative Secretary, Umar Jafaru Omeiza, congratulated the beneficiaries and encouraged them to remain dedicated to their studies. He emphasized the critical role education plays in shaping their future and urged them to make the most of this opportunity.
The beneficiaries, overwhelmed with joy and gratitude, described the support as a lifeline amid rising educational costs. They expressed appreciation for the financial relief, stating that it would enable them to focus on their studies without the burden of tuition fees.
