Members of the Ajaokuta Traditional Council held a significant meeting with His Excellency, the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency, Alhaji Usman Ahmed Ododo.
The delegation, which included Hon. Sanni Abdulraheem, Ajaokuta Federal Constituency Representative, and HRH Achuja Musa, Head of the Council, conveyed their sincere appreciation for the Governor’s exemplary leadership and commitment to community service.
During the meeting, the Governor was praised for his initiative to establish an agricultural hub in Upake, a project expected to bring substantial improvements to the local agricultural sector. The discussion also highlighted the Governor’s efforts to revive the Ajaokuta Steel Industry, deemed crucial for the state and the nation.
The delegation also expressed gratitude for the Governor’s appointments of several distinguished Ajaokuta individuals to important government positions, acknowledging that these roles empower the community and align with broader administrative goals.
Additionally, the meeting recognized the contributions of the immediate past governor for laying the groundwork for the current administration’s achievements. Special thanks were given to HRH Achuja Musa for organizing the meeting.
The Ajaokuta community reaffirmed its support for the Governor and its commitment to aiding the success of his administration. Looking forward, the community remains hopeful and optimistic about the future under the Governor’s leadership.
