High Chief Dr. Chetachi Nwoga Ecton, President of the WIN (When In Need) Foundation, has announced a large-scale Free Medical and Mission Outreach* in honor of her late mother, *Mama Ezinne Priscilla Chinyere Nwoga*, who passed away on March 1, 2025, at the age of 85 in the United States.
The outreach will be held on *Saturday, July 5, 2025*, at *Garki Primary School*, Abuja, and will serve over 2,000 children aged 0–12 with free healthcare, economic aid, and other critical interventions.
Dr. Ecton, speaking during a moving press conference at the Nigeria Union of Journalists (NUJ) FCT Council Secretariat in Utako, described her mother as her “prayer warrior, first teacher, and moral compass” adding that the outreach was both an act of service and a living legacy.
> “Even in mourning, we unite in purpose,” she declared to an audience of dignitaries, royal fathers, civil society partners, and journalists. “This is not just a memorial—it’s a movement of healing and compassion.”
The outreach also signals the beginning of a series of events leading up to Mama Priscilla Nwoga’s final interment in Nigeria on January 3, 2026.
Chairman of the occasion, *His Royal Majesty Igwe Sir Samuel Ikechukwu Asadu*, praised the initiative as a reflection of Mama’s enduring influence.
> “Dr. Ecton is her mother’s legacy in action,” he said. “To give back in the face of grief is a rare kind of strength.”
Supporting royal voice, Sa’Peyi of Garki, Alhaji Dr. Usman Nga Kupi, encouraged Abuja residents to attend en masse, calling Mama Priscilla “a woman of golden heart whose spirit lives on in her daughter’s deeds.”
Medical Director *Dr. Onogu Samuel* affirmed that high-standard personnel and equipment have been mobilized, calling the outreach “one of the most ambitious child-focused medical missions the FCT has seen in years.”
Also present were prominent supporters including Ambassador Nana Aisha Mahmoud, Dr. Adora Sydney Jack, Comrade Noah Emmanuel and other stakeholders, who pledged their support for the humanitarian initiative.
Dr. Ecton closed her address with deep emotion, stating:
> “Mama may be gone in body, but she lives in every child we help, in every life we save. This is how we keep her light alive.”
The outreach will be followed by a service of songs in the U.S. this September, before Mama Priscilla’s remains return to Nigeria for her final journey home.
