ACReSAL Kogi Coordinator Makes Courtesy Call on Government House Media Centre, Seeks Areas of Collaboration

Kogi State Project Coordinator, Agro-Climatic Resilience in Semi-Arid Landscapes (ACReSAL), Ladi Ahmed Jatto, has made a courtesy visit to the Government House Media Centre in Lokoja.

She was warmly received by Ismaila Isah, Special Adviser on Media to the Governor of Kogi State, His Excellency Alhaji Ahmed Usman Ododo.

During the visit, Jatto enjoyed the modern facilities and sophisticated media gadgets at the media centre, describing them as an indication of the state government’s commitment to innovation and excellence in information management.

The meeting provided a platform for both organizations to present the success story of their organizations. Ismaila Isah enumerated the successes achieved by the administration so far, while he and Jatto discussed areas in which ACReSAL and Government House Media Centre could collaborate, more so in highlighting the effect of climate resilience and environmental sustainability projects being undertaken within the state.

As a gesture of appreciation for the visit, Ismaila Isah presented Jatto with a copy of the Kogi State Annual Media Report, symbolizing the Centre’s transparency and dedication to efficient communication.

The visit is a positive step towards increased synergy between state institutions and development partners working towards driving sustainable development in Kogi State.
